Tazi zum Klown; or, The Thomas Friedman Story

    The Times brightest OpEd-ing star
He travels by cab—not by car.
    His Moustache of Wisdom?
    It glistens with jism.
Most odious dope? Yes, by far!

"Taxi Zum Klown," obviously. How do I edit this?

I wonder about the extent to this roommate relationship. My guess is... Platonic, but that Thomas wants oh so much more for his daughter.

A new factor will have to be put into the Thomas Friedman Op Ed generator now.

What? Is Friedman still a thing? And by "thing" I mean actually writing.

What about a review o fthe new George Packer book?

There is little I enjoy more than the outpouring of your hate for this man. That picture is amazing.

Hard times indeed when the husband of a billionaire heiress feels compelled to use his New York Times column to do advertorial-scale product placement for the Web site of his daughter's college roommate.

That's not completely snarky — hard economic times aren't the only hard times a man of Friedman's public stature can face.

Thomas Friedman's proclivity to learn about complex political and economic phenomena through cab drivers and a bunch of people standing in line during working hours at the welfare office is exactly like Alexandra Pelosi's interviewing her doorman and her black-cab driver for insight into Obama's domestic policies.
