          The ending of Titanic was actually a stealth critique on early 20th century feminism, the Suffrage Movement, their rise to the forefront of the national psyche, and their impact on the white male patriarchy.

          Specifically, that the burden of equality would not be shared equally by all white males and would instead be, largely, the burden of lower class.

            So many questions. Is there steerage on this ship, and does it come with the sweet below-decks Irish music party with the beer and the smoking? Because I'd go to that.

            Then again, having sailed on a twin bed in a windowless room I shared with a girlfriend on the Carnival Triumph (yes, the actual Shit Ship, but our trip was shit-free), I suppose I've already had the steerage experience.
