    What's a BCS school? I get that it has to do with sports but not everyone went to schools that had sports teams, like, at all. Please elaborate; google is not helping.

      BCS = Bowl Championship Series ... which means that it's a school whose football team is "big" enough to be eligible for one of the big bowl games. (I think.)

      True. NCAA Division I has two sub divisions for football. The BCS is the top tier schools which play in the bowl games. The Football Championship Series or D I-AA is the second tier of schools which play a bracket style playoff to determine their champion.
