I can't believe Katie Holmes or Tom Cruise haven't sued to get that taken down.

You can sue to have your image removed from the internet without your permission

I'm really, REALLY surprised she got away with publishing a book. A tumblr is one thing but a book seems a lot more permanent. It really is hilarious though.

    From The Sun piece:

The fashion-conscious schoolgirl, who regularly tops lists of most stylish celebrity child

    These lists exist? Surely not.

And why am I surprised by the vacuousness of society? I swear I set my expectations really really low.

Cute kid. She looks more like her father than mother. As for children having fashion blogs, isn't there a very bright teenager who's become a very popular fashion writer and taste-maker? From watching one interview, I didn't see that she was full of herself. To screw around with societal gender roles, I want a three year kid to really know her Tomahawk missiles.

Are you thinking of Tavi Gevinson, or is there another precocious fashion blogging kid out there? I saw her on Colbert a few months ago and she seemed lovely.

Yes,, she's the one. I saw her Colbert, too, and that interview was the basis for my comment on how she doesn't seem to be full of herself. Though she may be, I don't know. It's very destructive our society's approbation of young kids becoming famous, being photographed. Feeding the late capitalism monster at the expense of normal human development. Yes, I'm contributing by going on Gawker and clicking on stories about Suri Cruise. Though really I just wanted to comment on how she looks like her father—which is not a defense, actually worse, because I'm judging the appearance of a little kid, like how we judge everything these days, and even create our own realities—hybrid scripted and authentic reality shows—to judge. But it's Friday and no one wants to hear my shit (rightfully!). I'm just gonna grab a beer and watch The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

One in five kids in America is growing up in abject poverty without enough food on the table or clothing on their backl.

Their parents live paycheck to paycheck if they are lucky enough to have a job at all

But you never hear anything in gossip rags or the papers about this silent mass of kids who may have love and family but are missing out on the opportunity to share in the American drea.

Wouldnt it be nice if the media followed one of those millions of kids living in abject poverty as closely as they follow Suri Cruise to draw attention to the failings of our capitalist system.

But following Suri Cruise does draw attention to the failings of our capitalist system. It does so in the most obscene way.

I have a friend who constantly posts pictures of her baby (now 18 month-old) wearing different outfits. She writes, "she has the best and most interesting style." Um, you're dressing her. She has no style. She is a baby. It's really irritating.

The story is false. Everyone knows that Suri has clothes designed for her. David Miscavige himself is already designing new SeaOrg uniforms for when Suri begins her billion year service!
