I have to say. Great work. This stuff is important on a Friday afternoon. Thank you.

I wonder how long before the suspended username @theeznuts1 will become available.

This is good journalism. I sat that with zero sarcasm or snark.

The Ray Romano one ("golf-guy") is 10000000% fake. Twitter doesn't allow hyphens in user names.

Also, I bet that a guy that golfs is also a guy that likes Ray Romano.

There moral of the story: everyone needs to send more mean tweets to celebrities.

Jason Bateman is not gay. I know this because I sat next to him at SNL once and he didn't hit on me.

So this is what happens when Jimmy Kimmel wants to include some celebrity friends/ people promoting new work in a skit but no content exists to justify their inclusion. Until they just decide not to care and make some up (celebrity approved, of course).

Now I'm bemusedly picturing Dr. Phil being friends with Jimmy Kimmel.

Who the hell thought the fake tweets were too funny to be real and had to be the product of professional comedy writers? All the dubious and fake tweets were the worst of the bunch.

TLC does the same thing. I don't watch a lot of TLC, but every single time I flip there, I see these things. During their commercial breaks, they have 'helpful tip' tweets from fans. One of them was so bizarre (it was from a woman talking about straddling an AC vent on her wedding day) that I looked up the twitter name... no mention of it anywhere. Not in Google cache or anything, just straight up didn't exist ever.

Then I started realizing some of the 'tweets' were more than 140 characters. It just seems so bizarre. Why not post them as just 'helpful hints from TLC'? Why go to the trouble of inventing an army of pretend twitter users?

Now I just assume that every tweet I see on TV was written by (not very good) professional writers.
