Maybe he didn't care about money so that's why he didn't think it was important to leave it to someone? Hey, at least he didn't leave it to his dog.

People who don't care about money generally do not turn around and hoard $40 Million.

Maybe it's like that time when you have all that money in your change jar and realize that you have like 43 dollars which is enough for a Karelian pie and perhaps a tape of Norther's Dreams of Endless War.

When I die, I want my assets liquidated and burned. Cancelling all the insurance on everything and then having the house burned, money burned, furniture, cars, everything I own destroyed.

If I can't take it into the next life with me, then I sure as fuck won't let any of you jackasses have it. I didn't spend my entire life working for the benefit of OTHERS.

You want my shit? Go get your own.

That is illegal. Sorry! It is considered "waste" and will not be upheld in probate court.

You're assuming I'm going to ask permission to have it done. It's not about who is going to let me, it's about who is going to stop me.

Besides, if luck is on my side and I have a debilitating disease that will give me an proximate time limit on life, I can do it myself near the end (or end of my physical capabilities) rather than pay some unsavory characters under the table to carry out my wishes when I die.

Wow, I never knew his wife was a victim of Mengele. That's really unfortunate that they could never find an heir, but I hope the 40 million goes to a good cause.

I'm just amazed that Mengele left anyone alive at the end.

I'm sure there will be hundreds of people coming forth soon claiming to be an heir of this guy. NY has plenty of people like this.

Also $12 billion since 1943 sounded like a lot at first, but that's only a portion of the 2nd Ave line. Anyone remember that thing? They just recently mentioned it being built on Mad Men, which takes place in the 60's. Why can't we get some of that unwanted tank money diverted to public works programs?

It would be just as much a waste as putting it in the state general fund because public works programs funded by aggression have proven to be ineffective.

Programs funded by aggression? How so? Because it's formerly ear-marked for tanks? I've never heard of program to be funded by aggression, except maybe for a political campaign.
