You know, I bet Gwyneth Paltrow is pretty alright in real life.

I think "real life" for Goopy is so divorced from ordinary reality that the phrase has lost all meaning.

I think I kind of agree with you. She might live on another planet, but I get the weird feeling that she's not that bad.

Aw, Gwyneth. She really seems like she tries SO HARD to be what she thinks is "normal." Sort of like how Anne Hathaway felt like she had to rehearse being likable, Gwynnie seems like she's trying so hard to assure us Normals that she really does have the same issues and struggles we, the not-unfathomably-wealthy or genetically gifted do (though, genetically speaking, I'm pretty rare. I'm left-handed and I have blue eyes. If I were a ginger, I'd practically be a unicorn).

I find her ridiculous and I think GOOP is one of the most hilariously tone-deaf websites ever imagined, but I don't hate her. She's an entertainer and I find her incredibly entertaining. Possibly not for reasons she would appreciate, but you can't win 'em all, G-money!

If you're caucasian with blue eyes, then you're actually about as run of the mill as it gets. It's the most common eye color for whities - (is that racist? I'm white)

No. Everyone just shut up. I'm so, so tired of hating on this woman and other women. If you don't like what she has to say, fine, don't buy her cookbooks or whatnot. But goddamn it, she was ranked the most hated because she likes to give woefully out of touch smug advice - and we can only muster up enough hate for a known felon, misogynist, and abusive man to get Chris Brown on the most hated list 20 spots below her.

My thoughts exactly! I don't get it at all. I guess it's kind of funny when she recommends a $500 banana slicer or whatever? But the hate is just so bizarre. Same with a lot of celebs...Anne Hathaway, and apparently Katherine Heigl hate is still a thing too.

<Raises hand, waiting for Ms. Baudelaire to call on her>

Yes! As a general rule, I think everyone needs to be told to shut up most of the time but I have extra- "had it" with all the baseless hate (as if I didn't get my fill of this in middle school). As an act of rebellion, a couple of weeks ago I signed up for the Goop newsletter. Am I still punk rock? I think my act speaks for itself. Am I a hero? I just did what I think is right.

But seriously, to all those who have such an abundance of hate that they don't need to save it for the traditional day-to-day, hate-worthy sources: telemarketers & people who stand - STAND!? - on escalators, to you I say: "I'm sorry; here's a blanket, a beer & a Star Trek, The Next Generation marathon. Take a break. It will be ok."

I do not find Gwyneth beautiful; I'd say she's pretty. For beauty, how about Salma Hayek? There are some faces, like hers, that you just can't stop staring at, even while you're telling yourself, "Idiot, stop staring."

On the other hand, as someone who's not getting any younger, I appreciate that People picked as "most beautiful" someone who hasn't seen thirty in a while.

Yeah usually the most beautiful women are often models—those chosen specifically for their looks and nothing else. I actually would rather see that. It would make me hate myself a little, but it would be fascinating to see a list. There would have to be one for men too!

I can't be on board with magazines hailing people who have had plastic surgery on their faces as 'most beautiful'. So, no to Selma.

She's very pretty, and she's aging amazingly well. But for my money, you can't be the "most" beautiful if your beauty isn't arresting or striking in some way. Hers is indisputable — I don't think anyone would argue that she's not beautiful — but in a ho-hum, been there; seen that kind of way.

Her coloring makes her look super washed-out to me, and it doesn't help that she lives for oatmeal-toned neutrals. I feel like she's camouflaged to disappear without a trace when placed in front of any archetypal WASP backdrop.

When she wears brighter colors to awards shows I think she looks a lot better. Still ho-hum to me, but more visually interesting.

Yes, let us just keep perpetuating the false notion that white women are the most beautiful prizes of beauty and happy and rainbows ever! That sentiment never gets old!

    Gwyneth's Beauty Secrets

    1. Always wash your hair in organic lemon juice and unicorn tears. If you can't find unicorn tears you can substitute water blessed by a Tibetan Monk, but I don't recommend this if you're looking for best results.

Traveling can really do a number on your skin. That's why it's best to fly only in your own personal aircraft. I import purified air from the Swiss Alps and I have that pumped through the cabin.

I'm beginning to think Gwyneth's PR reps are werking this "most hated" thing. It's shocking how many of the top women in Hollywood are vilified by the general public: Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift are on that 'most hated' list too. Yet all of these women are insanely popular money making machines. Hollywood must think we're all nuts. No wonder they have no idea how to write awesome female characters or make movies for female audiences.

FYI, the only dude I saw on the list who seems to be equally hated and loved is Justin Bieber.

She is insufferable. I don't hate her, but my eyes glaze over when she talks.

She's "the cook" and "the eater?" Isn't this the same woman who suggested a recipe for chia seed porridge?

Also, holy crap. These people are boring. Hell, the set is boring. NOTHING IS INTERESTING IN THIS. Even the vegetables are muted! What did she do to those poor vegetables?!

On the other hand, I like her father, or at least from the story she told. He sounds like he was a bit more down-to-earth.
