    Is there precedent for this? Has any other cyclist caught doping been hit up by the title sponsor(s) of his team(s) he rode on while doping to return salaries paid to him via the team those sponsors were funding, or via direct lawsuits?

    If so, how many were successful?

    Fighting the Feds in court is expensive and time consuming. Also, they hate hate hate to lose. So much so that they cherry pick cases they know they can win, AND will not go away without at least a Pyrrhic victory.
