    One of my best plane moments was laughing at an Hasidic asshole who demanded that my wife change seats on an airplane so he didn’t have to sit next to a woman. The Jet Blue attendant told him to take a seat or be removed.

    Shit like this is why so many of my gay friends are getting out of NYC. Now that so many states are more tolerant and accepting, and NYC is becoming riskier, they're getting the hell out. Can't say I blame them given how completely inept the NYPD and DA seem to be with this case.

    Did we pass a law that makes it illegal to be intoxicated? So what if this guy was drunk? The cops always love to point to that as a reason someone doesn’t deserve their protection. Whenever someone gets their ass beat by the police, the slightest intoxication is given as proof that he deserved it. And let’s not even get started on sexual assaults when the victim is intoxicated...
