    Politico actually has a pretty interesting article up right now talking about what the debate prep looks like for Presidential candidates. Somehow I can't see Trump letting someone, even someone in the campaign, let loose on him. He is way too thin skinned.

      There’s no fucking way he’s preparing for debates. At least not in any traditional sense.

      I read an article this morning about how Clinton’s team is preparing her to talk about Monica, Vince Foster, Benghazi, etc. She’s coming up with shit to handle the myriad personal/conspiracy attacks she knows is coming her way from her crazy ass opponent. Honestly, I don’t see how the debates go favorably for Trump unless he literally doesn’t show up. There is absolutely no way he can hold his own with Clinton (or anyone in the field, for that matter) on a substantive policy debate.

      Edit: Lol, that Monica Lewinsky etc stuff was literally mentioned in the article you posted. Apologies.

      I heard she also has a detailed, step by step plan to be spontaneous, and that she is learning how to mimic being genuine. A well-rehearsed Hillary always comes across as, well, a well-rehearsed Hillary. Rehearsed to the point of just bleahahhhrggg. She might seem more genuinely relatable if she weren’t such a relentless drudge.

    I’m curious as to what Trump’s prep would be like. He’s not one to like to be questioned or attacked, which is exactly what will happen in a debate. My very basic-mostly-from-west-wing understanding of debate prep is that you’re trying to not only go through policy responses, but also prepare the person for the inevitable attempt to get them off balance.

    If I’m the Clinton campaign, I’m pelting her with odd insults that are barely related to any given topic so she has to practice staying on message. She has to have a succinct, contrite response to the inevitable email questions. Other than that, its standard prep.

    With Trump, I wouldn’t know where to begin. How do you do prep a man who doesn’t listen to anyone about anything? How do you prep someone who doesn’t have a policy understanding on anything? If I’m the Trump campaign, I’m trying to pound talking points into his head on literally every topic imaginable with the hope that he can just, for a second, deliver them.

      I think H needs to practice reacting to being LOUDLY interrupted and TALKED OVER. She needs to practice interrupting back, continuing to talk even when he tries to talk over her, or whatever they figure out is best.

      Drumpf will not succumb to any ‘prep’ for a debate. “What is this nonsense?” he will ask. He has the best words, the bigliest words ever and he knows more than all of them put together. He beat out 16 other established politicians in the primaries! And if he’d just kept being himself, he’d be 20% points ahead of H right now! His advisors know nothing and they just get in his way and harp on endlessly. He HATES them.

      It is clear as day to Drumpf that it is the media’s fault for his deafening loss thus far. The free press and biased media is the ONLY reason he is not winning yuuuuugely! We know nothing! Once he’s POTUS, he will ignore and proceed to erase the 1st amendment and begin construction on his ‘suspected terrorist sympathizers’ gated and guarded districts throughout the country. Civilian militia guards will be hired using their own semi automatic weapons to stop and frisk and quarantine anyone with too dark a tan or who doesn’t look genetically pure.

      He’s got this locked up. He is Drumpf! All heil Drumpf!
