    This woman is a victim of corruption and fraud.

    This goes back to the Sandusky cover-up.

    The Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett had cause to file charges against Sandusky in 2006 but did not.

    Kane campaigned and was elected on the mission of finding out exactly *who* made that decision not to prosecute Sandusky and *why*

    Everything after, it was all a set-up to keep her from rooting out the corruption in state government. One trap for her after another until they got something to stick.

    It goes to some citizens of Pennsylvania who are Penn State fans...they don’t *want* to know they truth.

    This is an injustice...the bad guys are winning right now in Pennsylvania.

      ● The Pennsylvania State Supreme Court is very corrupt and dishonest.

      ● Ed Rendell - Do I even have to explain it?

      ● Lours DeNaples was granted a casino license even though he is a convicted felon with a long history of ties to Russell Bufalino’s organized crime Mafia Family. The law was custom written to allow him to obtain Casino license.

      ● I’m sure there’s more I just don’t want to totally depress you.

      Her twin sister Ellen is already a deputy AG working for the same office. If they appoint her to serve out the balance of Kane’s term they won’t even really have to update the picture on the staff website. Hell, they could probably just leave Kane’s name on the door. Most people who work there call both of them, “Um... Kathy? Is that you? Sorry! Sorry!” anyway so it doesn't make a big difference.

      The previous AG chose not to prosecute Sandusky. Kane ran on a platform of “Why the hell didn’t they??? We must find out.”

      Kane wanted to find real answers as to who was responsible for the Sandusky cover-up.

      These charges are a bullshit set-up...the bad guys are winning right now.

      You expect them you expect them to prosecute Sandusky as if he did something wrong by Pennsylvania standards. This is the place where it was okay for years to put kids in a private juvenile detention facility for 9 months for the crime of stealing $5 worth of candy just so the judges who are doing the sentencing could get kick-backs.

    What I find interesting about this whole case is that when the eleventh hour arrived and the trial was about to start her lawyer made an appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court* for a King’s Bench Stay** of all charges. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court*** without delay rejected her appeal and the trial was allowed to proceeded to where it is now. The last time I’m aware of a King’s Bench appeal being used was in the Louis DeNaples**** perjury trial. It’s obvious to me that she hasn’t been playing ball with somebody or perhaps many somebodies in Pennsylvania politics. I thought Rhode Island had some dirty politics, Rhode Island doesn’t have shit on Pennsylvania.

    Now for the footnotes which will bring this into focus:

    * Kathleen Kane’s appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court was the same Supreme Court that had two members removed because she did and ankle grabbing slash-and-burn tatic in releasing all the pornographic and racist emails.

    ** A King’s Bench Appeal is a rarely-used process in Pennsylvania law that gives the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court the power to stop any case, criminal or civil, dead in its tracks.

    *** The Pennsylvania State Supreme Court is one of the most corrupt courts in the land. They heavily interfered in the Kids for Cash Case, going so far as to banish a sitting judge who tried to expose the wrong doings of two other judges who were putting juveniles in jail at a private prison complex for cash kickbacks.

    **** Louis DeNaples is a convicted felon who is probably one of the richest people in the state of Pennsylvania. The casino laws were written specifically to allow a convicted felon with a conviction over 15 years old to be granted a casino license. When he was charged with perjury due to lying about his connections to organized crime his lawyer filed in King’s Bench Appeal with the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court and it was granted!

      The sitting PA Supreme Court is not the same court that was involved in Kids for Cash. There was an election last year and three Democratic judges were elected to replace the ones who had resigned in disgrace or been booted out.

      But otherwise interesting context. I’ll add that Kathleen Kane didn’t offer a defense, which probably hurt her in the jury’s eyes. It seems arrogant.
