    According to the Tribune, Pierson blamed both that gaffe and her suggestion earlier this month that Obama’s policies “probably” killed Army Captain Humayun Khan, who died in 2004, on problems with her earpiece.

    Wait, what? Problems with her earpiece? How is that possible? YOU say Obama was responsible for something four years before he was elected and you blame it on your earpiece? What, you couldn’t hear yourself as you were speaking? Did she think the interviewer asked her to say something stupid? How the fuck is that even an excuse???

    I’ve known a lot of liars, but very few who lie right to your face when they KNOW you know the truth.

    Someone else said it earlier, but this just shows again that every time a Trumper says bullshit, journalists have to call them out on it, make it totally clear that they realize what they’re saying, and that they aren’t “joking” or being “sarcastic.”

      Yeah, he gave her a chance to clarify the fucking statement and she doubled down. At that point, yes, treat her like a child: “No, dear, I’m sorry that’s wrong. Try again.” Then stand back and watch as she flutters her eyes trying to figure out what part of what she said was wrong.
