OMG… I just looked that up and am still shaking my head… So, Murdoch’s ex-wife Wendi set up Ivanka and her husband. Wendi is now dating Putin. Murdoch is apparently married to Jerry Hall. Putin may or may not have had a child with a Russian gymnast a couple years ago… And, of course, Donald does/doesn’t know Putin at all… And nobody apparently thought Ivanka vacationing right now with the woman who is dating Putin might not be a good idea…

This is a bit more celebrity gossip than I’ve read in years, and I can’t say I missed it… And I’m a bit more saddened that it’s tied into the US Presidential Election…

Foreign governments—including governments with piss-poor human rights reputations like Saudi Arabia and Qatar—have been dumping money by the millions into the Clinton Foundation, then the Clinton-led State Department pushes through significantly more arms deals to many of these same countries than the State Department under Bush II and people around here are like: “Meh, no big deal.”

Now, Russia is linked to Trump’s campaign and y’all are freaking out like it’s the 1950s.

    Too funny.

And this is why Trump is the lesser of two evils—the majority of the electorate, media and politicians see him for what he is and decry him as such. Meanwhile, the majority of those same groups are pretending like Hillary Clinton doesn’t do effectively the same shit.

      Oh honey no.

It is one thing to donate to a CHARITY. A charity with an A rating, by the way. Charities accept donations from around the world, depending on the charity. The charity money doesn’t, despite the fact that I’m sure crazy ass Alex Jones is claiming it, go to the Clintons at all.

It is another to accept payments as an individual from a government, one we aren’t particular chummy with and then go work for a presidential election.

It’s ... a conflict of interest, if you will. Obviously, there could be even worse things like direct corruption, being paid to actually help influence the election from a somewhat unfriendly government. It skirts some interesting lines, including possible treason.

Though his name appears in the ledger 22 times, it has not been proven that Manafort received the funds.

      Yeah, right?

Now we’re going to wait for Manafort to voluntarily open up his bank accounts for inspection, or voluntarily admit he received the money? Hilarious.

Like, I get the media’s need to be objective, but that little line is a bit too cute by a half for my taste.

Not really. His supporters don’t give a fuck about his connections to Putin. In fact most of them secretly like Putin. Whatever takes down “Hillbitch” is fine by them.

Well don’t get too excited. We don’t know if this is a joke or satire yet. On top of that, we also don’t even know how this is Obamas fault.

Is this related to the money that Trump has been funneling to NAMBLA? Many people are talking about that NAMBLA money and Trump has yet to respond. Is the NAMBLA money scrubbed by going through the Kremlin first? How does it all work?

You know, I was talking to my co-workers — honest, hard working salt of the Earth folks — just the other day, and they too have heard stories about Mr. Trump and Nambla. No one seemed to know specifics — again, these are just Americans talking — but money was exchanged seems to be something. Or maybe nothing. I don’t know. But one thing that is true, is that people are talking about Donald Trump and Nambla.

I don’t know. I heard there was something about NAMBLA, but I don’t know. There was a woman talking about NAMBLA and some other folks were talking about NAMBLA, so there’s clearly something going on, but I don’t know.

Seperate from the Trump phenomenon, when the topic of Russia comes up it would be nice to see some mention of U.S. intervention in fostering the coup in Ukraine, or the procession of NATO forces on their border. I wonder how the U.S. gov/media would respond to such actions in their neighborhood?

Should we now expect a follow-up article on all donors the Clinton foundation who then received favors from the State Department?

How do you compare job opportunities to direct links to Putin and Russia? You assholes fail every time you bring up false equivalencies between Clinton and Trump and you will never be able to create a rational comparison. Only Trump fuckwits care because fucking stupid.

Favors for Clinton Foundation donors? Politics for the course.

Payments from Russia to Trump’s campaign manager? The road to treason.
