      True story: Fox considered developing a Canadian version of their channel, but decided against it because the CRTC has laws against newscasters knowingly lying. Then the Conservative government tried to have those laws overturned so we could also have our own crazy right wing news channels. That, obviously, turned into a bit of a PR problem, so they backtracked. So we only get to be fake girlfriends for hopeless Americans, but don’t get to have our own Fox News.

    Wow. Back in the day, I used to go to a semi-regular karaoke night for media people (tagging along with a friend who was in that crowd). I remember that Stelter always went, accompanied by his media girlfriend. I wonder if it was the same girl.

    If so, there’s no way Ailes paid enough her to suffer through a bunch of blog nerds butchering TLC....

        I have not-dated lots of Fox News reporters. In fact, I’ve almost never not not-dated one or more at any given time. Heck, I’m not-dating one for six months right now! It's pretty serious. We’re not talking about not getting married.
