    TRUMP DELENDUS EST (fka Chatham Harrison)Hudson Hongo

    Yet another Republican whose objection is not to the hateful things Trump says, but the unlovely way he says them. Susan Collins clutches her pearls and calls it principle.

    Still, I’ll take it. Now if we can just convince Mitt and Jeb to endorse Gary Johnson...

      What’s funny is she could only come up with three things he has said that swayed her vote. Really?! You can only think of three things and want a pat on the back.

      Calling Mexicans rapists is cool, but you can’t say shit about a federal judge, that’s just wrong.

      Maybe they should have taken their own advice back when their son decided to enlist post 9/11.

      Watch how fast Merrick Garland is confirmed after Hillary wins in November. He’s Robert Bork compared to what a victorious and vengeful Democratic Party will shove up the Republicans’ asses once She is sworn in.

    So, now we get some confirmation that shows that their private polling is showing that he’s more of a liability than an asset. It’s really as simple and cynical as that. They are in total self-preservation mode, trying to get themselves as far from the ship as possible when it goes under.

      So they’ll just abandon him to Hillary and try again in 4?

      Party and country are one and the same to lots of folks. They don’t think of the other party as legitimate.

    She won’t be the last Republican with a shred of patriotism left who refuses to allow the Trumpenfraud train wreck to destroy America, but they could’ve shown this resolve all damn year and not simply on the eve of the election.

      Don’t be so sure;

      http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/09/us/…

      ‘Fifty of the nation’s most senior Republican national security officials, many of them former top aides or cabinet members for President George W. Bush, have signed a letter declaring that Donald J. Trump “lacks the character, values and experience” to be president and “would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being.”’

    I’m keeping an eye on Johnson in the polls. If interest in him continues to rise, we could see more Republicans endorse him and therefore give him a good shot at splitting the right-wing vote and costing Trump the election.
