So there's a writer for the Toronto Star, Daniel Dale, who supposedly witnessed everything and confirmed that the mother was leaving on her own and Trump made his comments jokingly while she was on her way out. More interesting because Dale was hardcore on the Rob Ford beat and sued him after Ford accused him of creeping on his property.

      The pedophile accusation incident.

I’m very far from a fan of Trump, but it would be nice if Democrats could admit that most of the media, Wall-Street, military contractors, and other corporations are on her side.

Trump is perhaps the only person in the world who thinks that his mean joke at the expense of a mother with a crying baby — a mother who is probably one of his supporters, mind you — is something that voters should be reminded of over and over.

You know, just in case that some undecided voter out there might have missed that one of the two major party candidates was a total dick to an infant recently.

I mean, it is hard to keep track of which thing Trump has said is the most offensive to me, but this incident stuck out for just the reason you described: this was one of his supporters. Someone who, presumably wanted to see him speak so badly she carted her kid along with her to stand and listen to the piece of garbage. And that is how he treated her. Now, people who have some genuine class are able to be nice to their opponents, but anyone with just plain common sense should be nice to their supporters. But no, Donald Trump can’t bear the idea that he might not be the absolute center of attention for five fucking minutes because a baby is fussing.

But yea, dude should totally have access to the nuclear launch codes.

For those who may be unaware of the background to this story, Donald Trump is currently running for President of the United States in the guise of a human being.

What’s your point? He still told her to get out, and that, in-and-of-itself, is still the act of a petulant, rude, unsympathetic man.

Since the media is going crazy Trump needs to show us the letter he said the NFL sent him or just admit that he flat out lied.

Trump takes a third option — do so much crazy shit that no one remembers that he lied about something kind of basic and fundamental.

Since that NFL thing came out, he went to war with a Gold Star family, took potshots at fire fighters for being too slow to extricate him from an elevator and for politely asking him to abide by occupancy limits, decided to play keepaway with endorsements for his own party’s Speaker as well as two prominent Senate candidates, and then made a mean joke at the expense of a mother with a crying baby.

Arguably these things are not good politics, but they DID get people to stop asking to see that letter and that’s how Donald Trump operates; he is always thinking one step ahead (and ONLY one step ahead).

Every politician blames “the media” rather than their own screwups. Republicans can always beat this drum and tell their supporters not to trust even video evidence. He just doesn’t look “presidential” and is making it worse on himself.

It’s the old “trust what I’m telling you, not what that video shows me telling you” routine. It is rather pathetic that so many people just nod along and continue to support him, no matter what.

People need to be reminded of everything else he’s done and that he wants to dismantle the protections of the First Goddamned Amendment.

Its one thing if the video is 15 years old, or if the facts have fundamentally changed since said video was taken and someone has reassessed their opinion.

Its another thing when your spinning something you said last week and only because its causing you headaches.

Listen Donald, I know you’re a good guy, and that baby was a total plant. If you play its cries backwards, you can hear “Benghazi” and “Private email server” over and over again. Guess the liberal media won’t report on that though. Sad!

An Iranian nuclear scientist who sold valuable information to the United States government was executed in Tehran yesterday. It seems that Mrs’ Clinton’s email saga had a very, very bad effect on at least one person. Apparently, information that was otherwise unavailable and secret became very public when Mrs. Clinton’s emails were hacked.

This man’s body was returned to his mother with rope marks around his neck. Thanks Hillary!

I suppose you can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Clinton’s email server was the source of the information that got the scientist executed?

You can’t? Well then shut up, since you can’t say with certainty that the scientist wasn’t sold out by his colleagues.

I think what is at the heart of the matter is that even if it was a joke, it was a mean-spirited joke. And the way he’s handling it afterwards is even more telling. Would I care if one of my friends made a shitty joke like that? No. Do I care if a guy running for president has the bad judgement to make that joke in front of millions, and then go ballistic when it’s questioned? Very much so. The man is a mean-spirited asshole, there’s 30+ years of non-anecdotal evidence to support it. I don’t want that kind of person in charge of the country I live in.
