    Any relationship between Stephen Feinberg and Gawker’s own Ashley Feinberg? That may be why they were willing to loan a bankrupt company $22 million. (I refuse to pay to read the article to find out the real reason why!)

    This list feels a lot like Trump’s Supreme Court shortlist; there’s a certain arbitrariness to it that I find disconcerting, almost like he had an intern put together a list of successful business owners and then just chose the first handful of names in the “S” section.

    Stephen Moore is one of the stupidest people I’ve ever seen call himself an economist, right up there with Larry Kudlow. Watching him on Maher was an absolutely painful experience, and I don’t know anybody who would actually look to him for thoughtful economic analysis.

    Unsurprisingly, neither is actually a Ph.D in economics, meaning neither has actually done research and contributed to economics scholarship, instead taking half-baked discredited theories and getting paid to tout them for 30 years.

      Mr. Feinberg managed capital for Gruntal & Co. from 1985 to 1992. He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he traded proprietary pools of capital.

      I, too, trade proprietary pools of capital. I mainly trade them for alcohol, food and drugs.
