Trump may not own this casino anymore, but its ultimate failure very much can be pinned on him, because there's no way Icahn could have rescued this sinking ship.

True. Also his name is still on it, which means by the transitive property of narcissistic douchebaggery that his stated net worth has fallen yet again.

His stated net worth. That’s why he won’t release his tax return. Well, that’s one of many reasons, but I’m wondering, is there an equivalent word for “Birthers” for people who demand Trump release his tax return? If it’s gonna be a movement it has to have a name.

      Returners. No.
      Trumptax... ers.

Yes, well, this is what happens when you unionize and refuse to do your job.

This is what happens when every state nearby opens Casinos too. But I guess blaming the unions is a good way to sway public opinions against labor.

As a St Louis resident, can I just say: Fuck you forever and ever amen, Carl Icahn. We remember how you killed TWA and pulled a lot of good-paying, unionized jobs out of North County (which indirectly caused the conditions that led to Ferguson). Plus TWA was a damn sight better of a flying experience than American.

It was a shithole 6 years with threadbare carpets, dust on the gaming equipment and virtually nowhere to eat. Frankly I’m surprised it lasted this much longer.

As much as I’d love to see a Trump branded property be imploded with the TRUMP sign still affixed (before the election, please), I’m pretty sure it will just become a rotting, crumbling eyesore for decades to come since no one will want to re-open it, pay to demolish it, or redevelop the land. But maybe that will be the best fate: A deteriorating hulk of a building with Trump’s name on it.

“Donald Trump says Carl Icahn should be in charge of the entire American economy!” <- Whoever placed the linked article is a shade-throwing genius, Hamno.

Don’t ever say he doesn’t sacrifice. He’s one of the world’s great sacrificers. He just sacrificed 3,000 jobs. Nobody sacrifices like he does.
