      It makes me wonder if Trump ever even held his poor children as babies (and yes I’m aware of the creepy tween-aged Ivanka photo). Obama didn’t view the baby as some sort of enemy or inconvenience - just a small person doing a thing a small person does.

    I have a creeping feeling than everyone in the Trump camp, or who blindly supports him, shares his certifiably narcissist delusions that nothing can ever be his fault, apologies are never necessary (because guilt is never experienced), and that anyone who criticizes is—for lack of a better word—a hater.

    It’s a fucking baby. Even if it was somehow an infant crisis actor, Trump still handled it like an absolute dick. You can’t make him be an ass. He does that all on his own.

    I stand by the baby.

      To be honest though babies are just terrible if they aren’t your own. They are loud and annoying and their parents always expect you to think they are great. They aren’t great. They are babies - essentially a homogeneous commodity among humans. Nothing special about yours, ma’am. Also annoying and needy. I have yet to meet someone who honestly liked a baby that wasn’t his or hers.

    Plant or no plant, he just reacted to a screaming baby absurdly. Unless Trump is literally a robot controlled by Democrats, it literally makes no difference whether that baby was planted there. A screaming baby is a totally typical situation, to which he reacted like an asshole.
