Does this man strike you as somebody who held his children often when they were babies. I know that’s kind of a silly question, but he’s got five kids or whatever, he’s been relatively famous since before any of them were born, and I don’t think I have ever seen a picture of them as small children in which he’s actively participating in the role of being their father. I’m sure those pictures exist, but it's weird.

You'll notice none of them had warm personal stories to tell. They obviously love being his children but there wasn't much warm fuzzy in their speeches. So no doubt he did much. Remember he said he'd give them money but that was it.

      Of course not.

Here’s a good run-down on how Trump feels about all things child-rearing: http://fortune.com/2016/04/24/tru…

“I mean, I won’t do anything to take care of them. I’ll supply funds and she’ll take care of the kids. It’s not like I’m gonna be walking the kids down Central Park,” Trump said in a 2005 interview with Howard Stern.

Remember when the republicans kept asking, “how’s that hope and change working out for you?”

Well how’s that hate and change working for you?

I KNOW. Look at that photo. See those hands on those babies, the hands that are each easily the size of a half baby? Now, look up top. I’ll wait. Those babies HANDS are half the size of The Donald’s HANDS. Fucker has tiny fucking hands. The tiniest.

In fairness, those are much bigger babies. Obama’s holding newborns that can’t support their heads yet. Trump’s holding babies that are already crawling. There’s at least a year difference.

I realize it’s fun to make fun of a physical feature, but there’s really no need. Why take the petty route when there’s a wealth of legitimate source material?

Babies are so smart. They know all sorts of things, like “this is a bad man.”

If anyone you know is even thinking about supporting this lunatic, and uses any kind of justification whatsoever, it is time for you to seriously evaluate your relationship with that person. It is time for you to call them out and tell them in no uncertain terms that they are suggesting that an unabashed bigot, misogynist, racist, xenophobic, uninformed, vulgar, power-hungry zealot who is very likely (no joke) mentally ill to some degree or another is the best possible choice for President of the United States and leader of the free world. You must ask that person to explain themselves and if they cannot (hint: they cannot) then what on God’s Green Earth are you doing maintaining any kind of relationship with them?

No matter WHAT your political affiliation, if you can see with some degree of clarity that in fact the election of Donald Trump would be an unmitigated disaster not only for the United States but indeed the security of the entire world, then your world view does not align in any way with someone who is not ready to immediately and strongly condemn in no uncertain terms Trump and all things Trumpy. I honestly do not care if they are your family, or your best friend, or your colleague or your boss or some stranger on the street. This train has long left the “differences of opinion” station and is full steam ahead on total destruction of anything resembling the American way of life. Time to figure out what side you’re on and align yourself with sane and reasonable people who know and understand what is truly at stake.

I was at a family reunion this weekend. My husband’s cousin, a self-described “Reagan loving, gun loving conservative” said that there was no way he could vote for Trump. Without divulging my political leanings (Sanders), I smiled and said, “To me, the answer is clear, a vote against Trump is a vote against the apocalypse.” He agreed.

Yes, the same sane and reasonable people who never met a bomb they didn't like and openly disdain anyone who doesn't give them full throated support. Cutting off Trumpenproles only feeds the complex that drove them toward Trump in the first place.

The thing that strikes me about this photo is that Trump is clearly allowing himself to be upset by these crying babies. That’s not how the baby thing works! Babies are like dogs — they pick up on your moods and react accordingly. You have to be present to them, without losing your emotional center. He’s so bad at this, and it bodes so poorly.

    Sad!

I read that as a mocking expression. They started crying so he started trolling them. “Oh, boo hoo, I’m being held by the greatest definitely-not-tiny hands in America. I don’t want to be great again for the first time waaaah!” Then he probably just threw one back at the mother and dropped the other one on the ground.
