Fuck all these guys. ALL right wing media has been a Islamophobic den of hate for decades. That IS the Republican base through and through.

Shit, Trump’s comments are a fucking hallmark card to Muslims compared to your typical, every day 3 hour radio segment of Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Praeger and the rest of them.

So shit heels like Ryan can go fuck themselves with their tepid, faux “moral outrage”.

Trump is not more bigoted than the GOP as a whole. His problem is that he is cruder and more blatant than most. It is OK to talk about patrolling and securing Muslim neighborhoods and surveiling mosques but it is NOT okay to talk about restricting immigration.

Similarly, you are allowed to say bad things about black people as long as you say “thugs” or “welfare queen” or “urban” rather than “black”. You can also say bad things about Hispanics as long as you specify that you mean “illegals”; your comments can be as broad and racially charged ridiculous as possible but as long as you throw in the word “illegal” in there briefly it’s cool.

It is OK to throw women in jail for having abortions and investigate their miscarriages as criminal cases, but it is NOT okay to admit that you support this in public.

Trump hasn't been a right wing asshole for very long so he doesn't know that there is a difference between what you can say and what you actually mean. He explicitly says things that people normally don't and that's why he is getting attacked from the right.

They still didn’t stand up and attempt to put their candidate in place. They’re just washing their hands of it.

They’re too desperate to get a regressive SCOTUS going again to unhitch their wagons now.

Why the fuck don’t liberals understand how extremely important this fucking election is?

There hasn’t been a liberal SCOTUS since the God damned sixties.

    Stop being so infuriatingly complacent.

Cowardly shit stains who support a candidate antithetical to all they supposedly hold dear.

They hope Trump will win, as he is the standard bearer for their party, and from there they see him as a useful idiot whom they can use to get their malignant platform in place.

All their platitudes cannot disguise that Trump is their shadow self. He is the monster that they created and the monster that, deep down in their callous, unempathetic souls, they actually are.

Paul Ryan worships a philosopher who believes that altruism is a vice, that selflessness is a weakness.

You will have no better poster boy for this word view than Donald J. Trump.

Trump is a soulless shark of a human being who only wants to win. Conquest is the scope of his horizon. I have no doubt that if he wins the presidency he will give the heavy lifting to Pence.

The great thing though, is that if Trump does wins, his pathological narcissism won’t let him play second banana to Pence.

His incessant and infantile need for attention and praise will upend anything the GOP try to accomplish.

Wouldn’t it just be perfect if Khizr Khan ends up being Trump’s ultimate unraveling? Sweet, sweet justice if this is it. This guy is mindfucking the Trumpster so hard.

It’s particularly fabulous because Khan’s not even trying to drive Trump to distraction! He simply spoke from the heart. That, apparently, is Donald Trump Kryptonite. (HRC, take note.)

Perhaps even better: if Trump weren’t so racist, religiously intolerant, and xenophobic, Khan might well have been at the RNC instead. Republicans for such a long time have been so good at co-opting anything to do with the military! But not this time.

Ain’t that the truth. Isn’t that beautiful? We’ve got a lot of people on the left pulling out their hair in panic over what to do with Trump, and the “secret” is simply coming from the heart.

Excellent deployment of the immortal Phyllis Diller.

I think it’s very kind of Mr. Khan to presume that the leaders of the Republican Party may somehow still have souls.

What I wouldn’t give to see Ryan electorally punished for this in November. Just given the lay of the land (i.e. GOP overextended in the House), there will be some shocking GOP losses like in any election where they hold a majority. I just hope he’s one of them.

The dog finally caught the car...and he’s doesn’t know what the fuck to do with it.

That might either force them to become more moderate across the board, or it may push them into finding someone to the right of Trump for 2018 and 2020z.

So true, well done. I always see McConnell as having a wattly turkey neck stretching out from his collar and an empty gaze to match. So I am imagining your GIF but with a green version of this turkey’s neck substituted in. He’s always craning to see which way the wind blows so he can take craven advantage with minimum cost to himself. Ryan is no better, but he looks less like what he is.

In this case, he and Ryan are tiptoeing, trying to distance themselves enough from the consequences of their endorsement of Trump while not pissing off their crazy racist base. Neither is known for their agility, but then they are counting of the continuing stupidity of that base.

Yeah, this election is lost for them anyway. It’s probably better just to pretend this entire year never happened and actually try to produce a quality field of candidates in 2020 to go against what should be a very beatable Hillary Clinton. Seriously, they had 17 candidates this year and almost all of them were totally unqualified for the office or far too inexperienced. The most “serious” candidates in terms of their resumes (Bush, Christie, Kasich, Graham) were all laughed off the stage.

I mean, see also how Ryan basically said: “I believe Trump is a huge racist and don’t see myself that way, but I’m going to support him anyway because Republicanz.” They don’t see this shit as a big enough deal. I don’t know how they can bend themselves into this pretzel but they do it - white people matter, men matter, no one else. At best, everyone else is just bonus points if they don’t happen to get their rights trampled on. At worst, everyone else is actively oppressed.

History will fucking hate you, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell and countless others.
