In a Mini; let them mock me as My Mini Countryman is higher than youBrendan O'Connor

    And........?

There has been instances of “body shielding”, in these conflicts. The terrorist or militant runs into a civilian building, the US, Russia or other Entities bomb it. Ta-da! You killed the terrorist, got some civilian casualties and now the terrorist’s organization can now make it seem as if the US kills innocents for fun.

This is one the main reasons why Raqqa hasn’t been bombed into oblivion. Because of reports of the disgusting “body shielding” tactic.

There is no real “win” for the US and Friends in this war. Whatever we do, (insert radical Islamic terrorist organization here) will twist it.

Does this mean we should stop fighting? Hell no. Radical Islamic Terrorism is a scourge to the believers of Islam no matter the sect and to others in the region.

The good or bad news, depending on your views, is that either candidate is thirsting for a ground war in Syria against ISIS and other radical Islamic terrorist fronts. So there will be a “boots on the ground” war. Hopefully less civilians are killed as a result of this.

I know this sounds crazy, but we could always try not bombing them.

That brings the total number of civilians murdered by US Government Drones to 11,000+ [including the Doctors Without Borders Hospital that was blown up by several Hellfire Missiles a couple months ago].

Some say this is just the cost of war. I say “No, it isn’t.” I also say we have to do better. First things first, end the wars in the Middle East. Obama has not done this even though he promised to, just like he promised to close Gitmo “as my first order of business as president” and never did. Hillary will not only bring our troops home and actually end the wars in the Middle East but she will also close Gitmo for real, not just for pretend.

Second, forget how many civilians Obama has killed, imagine how many more civilians would be killed by Trump and I’m not even talking just about in the Middle East. I’m talking about Americans and Undocumented Workers. When he unleashes his plan to round up every Non-White Person and deport and/or put them in a FEMA Camp we will see Martial Law and Death all over our streets. The Boston Massacre will look like a joke in comparison!

Third, we can’t trust Trump with nukes. He will start and finish the world’s first global nuclear war and I don’t mean that in a good way. The entire world is in jeopardy. Millions dead. Radioactive fallout everywhere, contaminating drinking water across the globe. No more seafood. Life as we know it would end. Only the preppers would survive and I don’t want to live in a world filled with preppers ok? Neither do you.

So, and I’m looking at you Bernie Bros, vote for Hillary. A vote for Hillary is a vote against nuclear war and a second great depression. Experts say that a Trump presidency will cause stocks to go down about 91%. Imagine that. No thanks. Let’s vote for peace, the middle class, and regulating Wall Street. Let’s vote Hillary.

Not to worry. Hillary will throw even more gasoline (and bodies) on the fire. Quite possibly the most trigger-happy presidential candidate since Reagan.

This is why, as much as Bernie protesters at the DNC might come across as disrespectful and immature in their particular methods, we need their voices. President Trump will leave more bodies in his wake than President Clinton, but that doesn’t mean that we stop protesting because she’ll be less bad. We can make her a better president by continuing to express the fact that this is unacceptable, abhorrent and a human rights crime. Our ability to turn protest into collaboration and compromise is what makes Democrats the more effective party. I don’t see Trump agreeing to adopt any of the campaign promises of his former opponents, and protesters at his events aren’t even allowed to stay (and lucky if they get away unscathed). With him, you fall into line or you leave, and it’ll be that way when he’s president. Remember these dead civillians and think about this when you’re considering whether a protest vote is the way to go.

I fully agree that protesting is a necessary and vital part of democracy. I applaud those that would protest our allies to make their voices heard. That being said, there is a time and place for everything, there were plenty of oppurtunities to protest at the DNC, but shouting down Elijah Cummings was foolhardy and made all the Bernie Bros look like racists. I know that most of those people shouting him down didn’t care who he was and would have shouted down anybody standing there, but that showed complete ignorance. They were not trying to make their voices heard, they just wanted to get on TV and say nah-nah-ah-boo-boo. Fuck em’.

No, that’s not why Bernie protesters are being disrespecful assholes. Those protestors are there to protest anything. Doesn’t matter.. as long as they’re protesting.. because how stupid is it for so called liberals to protest the actual liberal for not being liberal enough.. meanwhile they never said a thing to the radical right wing conservative. So what do you do when Trump ends up in office, keep protesting Hillary or do you finally do something about the guy trying to reverse roe vs wade?

      I don’t get it.

Here’s a photo a couple of years ago of men in Manbij being made to watch a video of Abu Bakr Dickface al-Baghdadi running his dumb fucking mouth in Mosul’s Great Mosque:

I hated what was happening in Manbij then, and I hate it now. One day the people of Syria will be free of Assad and Daesh and Russia and Iran and Hezbollah and Al-Qaeda and naive Western leftists and all other enemies of Syrian freedom.

    No shit Sherlock.

News flash Gawker (and everyone else reporting on this): civilians die in war. Have since the beginning of time. In fact, until the second half of the 20th century, civilians were seen as legitimate targets for warfare. This isn’t new. They’ve always been a target. Progress is the fact that they are no longer deliberately targeted. That’s amazing. Great work. Still, acting shocked when they die in a war zone is just being deliberately obtuse.

It’s terrible. War is terrible. Be shocked at war. Don’t pretend that it’s somehow shocking or more terrible because civilians are dying. Because civilians will always die in war just like our soldiers will always be killed by friendly fire. Go figure out how war works and then come back and be a reporter.
