    Have we ruled out the possibility that “Trump and his advisors” didn’t know about the embellishment because they also thought she had a college degree. Like, maybe she lied to Donald when she met him to make herself seem more desirable, before she realized he didn’t give a shit about her education? He might have been blindsided by this as well. Apparently, he is not that good at the organizational side of things.

      Pretty sure Donald wasn’t interested in her brain from the word go ...

      And given her past in New York before hooking up with Trump, taking classes at NYU was never a priority, either. She just hooked up with married guys who put her in fancy apartments. Thinking they never did it because they thought, “She’s so smart! If I set her up with her own apartment, maybe she’ll prove string theory.”

      Agreed, but I’m not questioning whether he actually cared, rather whether Melania thought it might be to her advantage to lie - for the benefit of someone she may have thought cared about schools and pedigrees, etc - to Donald at the outset and just never fessed up.
