      ayup. I was a rather subdued bernie bro, but the one thing I recognized very early on is that Hillary has a much better chance of taking down Trump during debates. A) Hillary has pretty much made a career out of dealing with angry screaming white men, while remaining cool and calm. B) Trump gets even more outrageous and flustered when dealing with women.

    You know what’s so great? His supporters love all this - they simply don’t care what he actually says - it’s post-meaning language. It’s like watching the end of western civilization in real time.

    And just to get into a needless pissing match - I’d be willing to bet that there are some Bernie Bros out there that agree with him - on the factual point. His supporters have no idea what he’s talking about, but true-blue Hillary-haters are probably saying “yeah!” to themselves.

      I was listening to him wheeze his way (he sounded breathless) through this news conference on my drive to the gym this morning. I lasted about 5 minutes. I don’t think there is enough booze in the world for me to be able to stomach it. And I am a news/politics junkie.

    Its starting to happen...He is starting to wither under the pressure and the only way this clown knows how to handle it is to double down on the assertions. Keep in mind this is just week ONE of him as the nominee.

    He has always been able to bluff his way through with off-the-cuff remarks when the scrutiny is more localized,and one segment of America. Now that it is truly on a national scale his buffoonery will be his undoing and it will be a glorious crash and burn

      I think Trump is having a bit of a meltdown because no one is paying him much attention this week due to the DNC. All the headlines yesterday and today were about Hillary, Bernie, Michelle and Bill.

      Can you imagine how much of a comedown that is to a narcissist who just had a week devoted to him? He’s got the sweats and the shakes, double vision and fainting spells.

    It’s clear that Trump doesn’t respect women except as sex objects, which is why Bernie would have been a better Democratic candidate to run against him.

    The debates will be Trump staring at Clinton’s chestal area, and making comments about her weight. He will win them handily and cruise to the White House.

    With Bernie there would certainly have been a serious exchange and vigorous debating about hair grooming and the correct way to pronounce “huge.”
