“Jingoistic, America First candidate turns out to be a Russian saboteur.”

NPR interviewed the Veep writers the other day and one of them said that this particular plot twist would be considered bad writing if someone offered it in the writers’ room. Unfortunately, real life has been far more interesting than scripted drama this year.

Yeah... the “bad” presidential candidate being mixed up with the Russians seems like a terribly cliche trope...

I was gonna make a joke about how we need an ‘80s action star to save us from the Trumpchurian candidate, but all of the really big ones (Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger) are Republicans. And not just Republican, but super hardcore conservative Republicans. I just looked up Steven Seagal and he’s not only a wingnut, but friendly with Putin !

Guess only Harrison Ford can save us now!

What doesn’t Trump blame on the Chinese?

Hoaxing about climate change .....hacking the DNC....stealing by Hamburglar...what’s next? His audit is the result of Chinese persuasion? His kid-glove hands are the result of too much MSG? His hair piece is the result of a Chinese fire drill?

Unhinged is the best way to describe Trump in general, but it still feels like such an underwhelming choice of vocabulary for him.

I got thrown off a message board for daring to call him a “Batshit Racist,” and even that seems understated.

Surely this will finally convince Trump’s supporters that he is manifestly unqualified to be President.

An excerpt from one of Trump’s cyber adventures:

“I’m undoing the clasp on your bra... but I can’t get it open, my fingers are too stubby. I ask you for help, but you let out a sigh, and the force of your breath knocks my hairpiece off my head. It flutters to the floor, tickling your leg as it falls. I ask “do you like that, baby?” You say “no, not really,” and you dry-heave a little bit. As I bend to pick it up, my face brushes against your pillow, leaving an orange smear from my fake spray tan. You tell me to leave and complain you’ll have to wash the sheets. “I know the best housekeeper, she’s Mexican, of course, which is fine, but she does a great job!” You threaten to call the police. I leave and go to my cafe and eat a taco bowl.”

I used to work as an EMT and had to deal with Dementia patients all the time. No shit, at least 60% of them could string together a conversation that made more sense then Trump.

I felt this was a decent examination of why experts think that Russia was behind the DNC hack. The analysis of the forensic evidence begins about a 1/3rd of the way into the article. https://motherboard.vice.com/read/all-signs…
