Cue the weird xenophobia that Clinton supporters like to throw at people they think shouldn’t talk about US domestic politics because they don’t live there.

Do these hardcore Hillary supporters around here have the worst persecution complexes on Earth, or are they Republican plants looking to be as offensive as possible to the left wing to drive them into the Stein camp?

Fully agree. As someone watching this election very closely from the UK.

I don’t get the Hillary supporters are acting like the ultra conservative republicans, thinking everything is out to get them....

You’ve been dutifully shouldering the political shitshow entertainment burdern for months now, it’s only right that we take the lead for a bit.

Why are Hillary Clinton supporters so obsessed with how people who supported Sanders will vote? I keep reading these crazy rants here and on social media with people concern trolling to Sanders people and I always think to myself that they have to know that they are writing these dumb screeds out more for their own sake than anyone else.

Like 85% will vote for Clinton, and most of those who won't never vote democrat anyway. It's the most insignificant voter bloc to harp on, but you know they'll be blamed if trump wins.

They are worried that she will lose and Trump will become president if Sanders supporters don’t vote for Hillary. Not that complicated.

Di you know what being a member of a political party in a different country means? You can’t belong to two parties in two countries. Pick one & stick with it!

I didn’t realize I was going to be crying through so much of the convention. Between Michelle and the 102 year old delegate from AZ and this it’s like Terms of Endearment up in here.

Aw, yeah that got me misty. Maybe with the liberal-as-fuck DNC platform and moments like this, everything will come together and Bernie folks will realize things are going quite well and quite progressive for the mainstream parts of their party.

Bernie never really wanted to be President. He sure as hell didn’t want to be VP. He’s far more valuable and can do better work in the Senate. He got what he wanted.

We must take away from this precisely why their parents would be so damn proud: Bernie, despite not getting *enough* delegates, has done something pretty damn huge. He has paved the way and made inroads that have simply not existed before for highly progressive and subversive candidates to have a real shot at the Presidency. Elections in the future will be impacted by the Sanders campaign, for a long time.

To be fair, Trump did the same thing in a way, paving the way for individuals far outside the establishment, but Bernie did it without appealing to human beings’ most base nature of fear and extreme buffoonary.
