This is something knee jerk liberals and dnc stooges will never understand, Bernie supporters were backing a movement, a cause, they weren’t backing a meat sack with a vagina. If Bernie stabs them in the back the movement survives and will go on...without Bernie.

It was just a general sort of chanting about their problems with Hillary at whomever was speaking. They were just ready to yell whatever, whenever, and the speakers are Hillary’s proxies.

“She needs to prove to the millennials that were inspired by Bernie...

And these particular millennials need to prove that they can act like grown-ups because so far, all we’ve seen from them at the convention is petulant children.

The first Sanders delegate that MSNBC interviewed after his speech said that she’d likely go vote for Jill fucking Stein in November. You know why the Democrats aren’t taking you seriously? Because you’re not a Democrat.

You can be progressive all you want, and that’s great. And if the Democratic party isn’t progressive enough for you, fine. Go vote Green. But don’t come into the Democratic party and try to fuck shit up and then take your ball and go home after you’ve wrecked shit and then blame the party for not bowing to your wishes. That’s not how this works, children.

I don’t know if that’s fair. Even in his speech last night he spoke about the differences he and Clinton have. Some of the Dems platform is a direct result of his influence. He’s not whipped by any means, nor is he going to abandon his own work to be Clinton’s bitch boy like Trump and Christie or something. He just knows what needs to be done to make sure Trump is not elected.

The majority of legislation that legislators vote on is piddly, meaningless shit like street names, holidays, etc. Additionally, their voting records only overlap by like a year, and Clinton wasn’t present for something like 15% of the votes. I’d be more interested in seeing how their voting records match on actual big, progressive legislation.

Their voting records are both a matter of public record. So it wouldn’t be super difficult to compare the two and see patterns.

More to the point, a quick search of the Googles shows a number of outlets who have already done the comparison. There are so many of these that you can find ones that take into account their entire public careers (outside of senate overlaps), ones that synthesize and compare ideology, etc.

What a fucking embarrassment. Sanders didn’t even win California, and it wasn’t close. So they’re shitting on to both the party they claim to be members of and the voters of their state who sent them. Assholes.

The voters who sent them voted for Sanders. California isn’t all or nothing. The delegates represent the people who voted.

Yeah, but they’re not booing senators under individual signs that say “that district with the nice donut shop,” they’re doing so under a four-foot-tall one that says “CALIFORNIA.”

“Most of us delegates were elected at a caucus or a poll. I came here to vote. I didn’t come here to party and get drunk,” he said.

That’s funny, because I feel like that’s the exact reason I would go to the DNC.

These hardcore Bernie diehards have to learn that life and politics aren’t so Manichean; there are nuances, compromises and trade-offs that need to be made in the real world.

What I’m saying is you can vote AND get drunk.

Considering that Bill- a President who apparently is worse than W and Reagan combined- is speaking tonight, I fully expect it to be a shit show. Especially since Bill is famously thin-skinned enough to take the bait.

They’re also threatening to raise a ruckus when Tim Kaine comes out which seems kind of dicky since he has nothing to do with any of this and is by all accounts a swell guy.

California was incredibly close in the end. There’s no reaso to think Sanders wouldn’t have won the eight points needed if they had simply counted the remaining ballots.
