Man, I love politics but hate this shit. Just seeing that list of celeb names makes me want to not vote for the Dems. Like who the fuck cares what Elizabeth Banks, Tony Goldwyn (who? the guy from Ghost?) or Lena Dunham think. At least with Chachi I had a “where-are-they-now” moment.

As a Minnesotan, calling Al Franken a politician-celebrity hybrid really does him injustice. He is a fantastic state senator who truly cares about Minnesota families. He is a strong advocate for privacy in technology, and fought hard to stop the Comcast-Time Warner merger. We love him here and take him very seriously. I almost forget that he was once Stuart Smalley.

  He slips it in every now and then, but it is rare. I feel like sometimes he works too hard to curb his comedic instinct and sometimes his speech comes out unnatural. I get why though, he is still fighting the SNL “stigma”. I was watching the Fox broadcast when his speech ended and one of the talking heads immediately jumped on it.
  
  He got brought up on a different article last night and I went looking for a clip of him breaking down a cartoon, but ended up spending way more time than anyone should watching cspan clips of him being a BOSS. The History major in me geeks out over source-checking smackdowns.

I thought Sarah was excellent last night. The impromptu shutting up of the idiot Bernie or Bust crowd made my heart fill with joy. The way they were interrupting people was rude and someone needed to put an end to their ignorance. Fitting that a woman did. I’m sure they hated that so much.
