Beheading a 92 year old priest is nothing to take lightly, but can we please stop assuming that every crazy person in the world is some sort of terrorist with ties to Islamic Fundamentalism? These guys never went to Syria to train with ISIS. Hence, they are not terrorists. Mental illness knows no borders.

Can we at least assume that the majority of terrorist incidents will have an Islamic nexus?

That’s it. Keep burying your empty head. Islamic terror attacks are happening almost daily in Europe, and all you can do is day they are not terrorists. Deniers like you should be shamed

It’s not popular to say, but there is only so much that can be done to prevent random, lone wolf attacks against soft targets. Rare events being rare are impossible to predict. They are always possible and almost never likely.

Well that’s the reality now. This is the fruit of allowing a 5th column to live in your country.

“Sorry Jacques. Better get used to the beheading, there’s nothing we can do about it ;^)“

Does this mean the religions are going to start fighting it out amongst themselves? Because I mean I don’t want anyone getting killed but this seems like a workable solution for everyone else.

Don’t get the Christians riled up. They are by far the most violent religion out there.

Yeah that 80-year-old priest was “fighting it out.”

Two “ISIS” assholes took hostages at a church, and only killed a 92 year old priest? I’m just saying, maybe you two shouldn’t have gotten into terrorism, as you are really bad at it. Hell ISIS shouldn’t even take credit, because this is just sad.

On to my real points! I’m glad that the French were able to stop tweedledee and tweedledumb, with minimal loss of life. If I may, since I’m sure he wouldn’t mind, let me paraphrase a movie quote for the fallen priest.

You may strike me down, but I shall become more holy than you can possibly imagine.

They’re obviously not the sharpest tools in the box if they think they’re going to find many people in a French church.

I think this is something attention-seekers can now claim as a badge of self-importance without the actual terrorist organization having to do anything like recruit/arm/establish actual connections. It’s the ultimate step in decentralization, not as effective as the cell structure but way more random and with fewer footprints.

Could be, but when all is said and done, does it really matter? What difference does it make?
