      whats odd is that during all of the convention I didn’t hear anyone from the republican party claim that they hated anyone. The only group I hear using hate speech (blatantly and proudly) seems to be the anti trump crowd.

    The biggest race baiting monster in this election is Hillary Clinton. Rationalize all you fucking want, but her and her husband sold out black people to get elected in 1992 and 1996. They escalated Nixon’s war on crime and Reagan’s war on drugs. There is absolutely nothing Donald Trump could do that would cause more damage to African Americans than what the Clinton’s have done. Maybe David Duke is inspired by Hillary in that he thinks everyone will forget that he is a racist ass clown.

    Does anyone even remember what she did to Obama in 2008?

    This is one of the reasons why it so shameful that Trump was allowed to spew his bile on his national stage. He legitimizes this stuff. Even if he is completely cynical and merely using racism to make a power grab, Duke and others, long marginalized, feel they now have a way in and an official movement behind them.

      It’s just election year bullshit. When the Trump campaign spectacularly fails to win the election it will derail the false perspective that the bigots are the majority.

      I am one of those people whose forefathers created America, a descendant of the man who wrote that “All men are created equal”, who wrote his own epitaph so that the causes he championed might be remembered.

      “Author of the Declaration of Independence [and] of the Statute of Virginia for religious freedom & Father of the University of Virginia.”

      The American values he upheld and cherishes above all things were equality, religious tolerance and education. While David Duke may believe that other races should be subjugated and that the founders shared his values the truth is that Thomas Jefferson himself denounced slavery as “moral depravity” a “hideous blot” despite living in an era where slavery was legal and personally benefiting from the institution of slavery and worried that slavery might destroy the nation he helped to found.

      Everything that America is today we owe to immigration, from the founding to present day travelers from foreign shores have enriched our nation and have helped build it from a set of ideals into a major world power. Even David Duke with all of his bigotry and xenophobia is afforded the same rights as anyone else though it is his belief that others are not worthy of those rights because that is the promise our nation was built upon.

      I will fight tooth and nail to see that he is never elected to a position where he might curtail the rights of others. His ideology runs contrary to those upon which the United States of America was founded upon and he has no place within our government.

    So it begins, the racists have been freed by Donald Trump. The hate mongers have a new found voice. It is now perfectly fine, even politically correct to support hate. The decades of subersive bigotry by the GOP has been blown wide open by Donald Trump. How long before someone tries to reverse the legalization of interracial marriage.. it’s only about 40 years old anyway. Donald Trump has irreversibly hurt this country, even if he is soundly defeated by Hillary, the damage is done.
