    News at 10: Republicans are saddened and dismayed to find out that Weasel Ted Cruz is a weasel. But he did ride the Weasel Train out of town in triumph. He might be an uncomfortable physical presence, but he is indeed a master at the podium and his long slow burn of Trump was actually pretty enjoyable.

      The downfall of this is we get to enjoy his smug ass going “told you so” for the next four years as one of the few GOP holdouts.

      When Trump goes down it will be all “see, we need a REAL conservative!” despite all evidence to the contrary. They will refuse to acknowledge that the greater national revulsion to Trump are the things where he actually stays pretty close to conservative politics.
