What’s the best way to buy weed with no contacts? I’d be looking for a nice blend of reliability and low likelihood of arrest. People who can pull this off really impress me. It’s so resourceful.

Move to a state with legal marijuana.

If not, hopefully your state offers it medically. Get your card.

      Bing bang.

because if you fuck around, you get caught.

So spoiled by having the a a bunch of pot store(s) down the block (and the airport not care if any is on carry on to a flight, to Ohio, for example). got a nice ‘we checked your pot and it is A-OK’ label from the TSA on it one time I checked an ounce or two in baggage.

    Nice sack though, man.

You can actually live pretty well off of 25k a year in Cleveland, if you’re single without kids.

I made more than that working at a pizza store over 20 years ago, it’s hard to comprehend how vastly different cities are here in the US.

I could barely make rent back then...a HOUSE on $25k is an absurd retro idea here. I’d have to go back to 1967 to do it here on the west coast.

Agreed. The dive bar near me has a shed in the back for storage that has an additional roof over it, and they always have kittens living up there in between the two roofs. Nothing like hanging out on a patio watching kittens be kittens

A bar near my place has an old lab who wanders in and out as he sees fit, owners dog. Friendliest pup you’d ever met. Too bad they don’t have that m any good beers or I’d be there more often.

In the 70's when I lived on Bank St. in the west Village, I would call an answering service(pre-answering machines) and recite a script to the operator that included my customer code name and quantity of weed and/or other drugs required. It went:

“This is your Aunt Dot(my code name). Two(number would change depending on how many people I had over to party) of your cousins are in town and I was hoping you could come over to play cards(weed)/Scrabble(ludes)/Monopoly(coke)/Risk(assortment of all drugs).”

My dealer would call in for his messages every hour and then soon after that some 20-something guy(they were all guys), usually a preppie NYU student or artist-type, would show up at my door with my order. Sometimes the delivery guy would stay and party for a while, share a joint, screw, that sort of thing. I met a lot of fun and interesting people in those years by having drugs delivered to my apartment.

Because no one who would do anything about it cares. The stigma attached to weed has pretty much disappeared. It’s legalization is inevitable.

I’m not a liberal or conservative, because I don’t have the time. If you have the time to argue politics, you don’t have to work two jobs.

Fucking hell ain’t that the truth.

I wish they would lower the employees of Fox News to minimum wage, and at CNN, and everywhere else—no offense to the press. I’m tired of people making that much money telling me, who makes less than 25k a year, how to live.

Also, truth. It’s easy to preach when on top of the mountain, how about getting down in the dirt with us plebs to feel it for real eh?

But I haven’t been watching it on TV, and I’m not a liberal or conservative, because I don’t have the time. If you have the time to argue politics, you don’t have to work two jobs.

This is the most depressing sentence, even though I know from polling and experience, this is why poor people aren’t taken into more consideration (when they are, it’s to screw them over) when policy decisions are made. Politics, the way it’s done NOW, is a privilege.
