    Punk shows are always so loud. And they just play the same three power chords over half-baked lyrics. They're probably drunk on stage, too. Is it an unreasonable request to have some musical virtuosity? Some upbeat lyrics? Some production value? Maybe matching costumes. I really think the whole punk ethic would be so much better served if they took a page out of the Loggins and Messina playbook.

    This is what gets me...this is just a stupid comment.

    In Portland at a protest, there was a sign that said “Cops under control or cops under flowers” and I thought that was almost too much...it at least had a qualifier statement.

    This kid and his shirt are not ‘punk’ they are just stupid.

    I love the second to last picture of The Little Punk Who Tried Too Hard. Not that his anger isn’t real: he had to leave early to get back to his parents house in the suburbs for a good night’s sleep before doing the morning shift as assistant manager at the Westfield mall Cinnabon.

    Glad you guys are making the most of what would otherwise be a depressing assignment. I’d do the same if an indulgent employer had me covering this combination of Riefenstahl and Ringling Brothers.

      2. The assignment I was refering to is the RNC convention. Denton didn’t send them to Cleveland to cover a punk show, although I’m glad they did as part of the assignment.

    Now That’s Class is one of the few remaining bars that are authentic. 95% of you would be way too uncomfortable at the place.

    It’s cash only, as a “joke” they don’t have an ATM and direct you to go to the nearest one at the gay bar next door.

      I know of similar bars that are cash only. They are usually that way because they are too punk to pay credit card fees and they are too punk to pay taxes. And by punk, I mean greedy/cheap.
