    I have to admit, I am extremely jealous of anyone who doesn’t know who Ted Cruz is. Though I’ll also admit, I’d never want to be the first person to explain Cruz’s existence to someone. It’s like teaching a baby about death.

    At this point, I’d say his night’s going pretty well. He just bumped his slimy ass right back into the news cycle for a bit.

    It’ll be interesting to see which gets more play tomorrow: the VP speech by Governor Who-Gives-A-Shit, or Ted Cruz doing the most predictable thing ever.

    (Ok, no, it won’t be interesting. Pence will be ignored, and the clown show will go on.)

      Sure, it makes Trump look better than Cruz in the eyes of voters who already decided. But who cares? This isn’t the primary anymore. The Trump/Cruz battle is long over. And the point of the convention isn’t to win over the people already in your camp, it’s to bring everybody else in. This makes them all look stupid. This is more half-assed, poorly-planned jackassery. Why they let Cruz speak (reports are that they knew he wouldn't endorse and threatened to incite the booing if he didn't) is beyond me.

      The headline tomorrow was supposed to be “here’s the Republicans’ awesome VP.” Now it’s going to be “Cruz doesn’t endorse, crowd goes crazy, GOP convention circus goes on!”
