      Indignation? Who’s indignant here? Cause it sure as hell ain’t me; nobody I’ve seen, either. Most people are laughing at them. In fact, if rumors are true, the only “furious” person was Trump after his wife’s speech went down in flames.

      You can’t get mad at these people. The only way you can fight someone like Trump and his supporters is by laughing at them.

    I think we risk over playing our hand by harping on this. The situation with Melania is very different and far more offensive. Does it perhaps give further insight into the shit-show that is the Trump campaign? Yes but it’s pretty insignificant when you consider the list of exhibits we already have that back up that claim. This just gives some weight to the whole liberal media excuse they trot out.

      I had a terrible thought during his speech. He’s young and more manageable than his dad and he could run for office one day. Donald Trump will drop dead eventually but we may never be free of Trumps.

    This also smacks of fraud to me. If he was a paid speech writer, I assume he was being paid to write a NEW speech, not cut and paste together a selection of his previous work.

    Junior may be able to claim ignorance on this one, but Buckley needs to acknowledge that what he did was shoddy speechwriting at best, fraud and plagiarism at worst.

      I love watching the commenters on here circle-jerk each other into a frenzy about this shit. This is some of the most banal mutual affirmation on the internet. The hypocrisy is the best. The condemnation of hyper-vigilance from the right and hundreds of comments on the content of inconsequential speeches. Predictably, you'll defend it as a character issue, but there is no candidate that stands on character this cycle. From the center, the left and the right look the same to me.
