You mean the same guy that helpfully pointed out Melania only plagiarized like seven percent of her speech? That guy? Sad!

Chris Christie transferred onto Hillary all the burning rage of somebody who knows that he is universally despised and disrespected; and that people snicker at him not only for his ungainliness, but for his shamed, hangdog face that advertises the truth about him far better than his mouth does .

Hillary has spent a whole lifetime serving her often ungrateful country, while Trump has spent his life bilking his own employees and contractors, declaring false bankruptcies to swindle his creditors, pawing and panting after scores of second-rate models, blowing his own tarnished horn for imaginary achievements, and making a punchline of himself in front of any audience that he can gather.

The call and response of all these terrified patriots felt very Kristallnacht-y. Not that they are anywhere close to being Nazis, it’s just hard to picture this kind of intensely negative vocalized groupthink in Philly next week. And fuck Ben Carson, btw- Hail fucking Lucifer!

I had the misfortune of listening to it on NPR on my drive home. I love my car more than some of the people in my life and I felt like burning it today.

The State dept. has said that Comey was wrong and that only two emails were labeled classified and that they were mislabeled and weren’t actually classified.

Two nights in a row one of the two major parties in our country called for the imprisonment of their political opponent. This is without charge or proof or even crime (you could easily argue that what Sec. Clinton has done is stupid, but it’s not criminal).

Seriously? For a party that fetishizes the “Constitution” and the “Founding Fathers” (tm Republican Party) they have no fucking clue...

This is just a disgusting thing for the rest of the world to see. Can you imagine if we saw a crowd at a political event in Germany behaving like this? Chanting for the imprisonment of a politician? There would be cries of Naziism on the rise again all over the world.

Not only without a criminal charge or proof of a crime, but after the highest law enforcement body in the land already investigated and declined to prosecute her for the very thing this speech was about. They’re drawing “lock her up” chants for something she literally cannot be locked up for.

This is the quality of the straws at which the GOP is grasping.
