Jesus Christ. I have never seen such a cynical display.

I know the Republicans have been the party of fear for a while now, but they’ve taken it to unfathomable levels tonight. The negativity is astounding.

For those not watching, sandwiched in between some of the least charismatic speakers to ever grace a stage, was a guy literally saying that if Clinton is elected, young single mothers will not be able to protect their babies from savage home invaders by arming themselves with a gun.

    Fuck these assholes.

      Nope, no fear-mongering there.

Point taken, but let’s be honest; while Clinton occasionally resorts to fear-mongering as the spice of her campaign, Trump and the RNC has been serving it up as the main course.

Tiffany Trump is a reasonably attractive young woman. That’s unusual in this family. Less make-up and a better hair color would really help her looks a lot.

Trying to think of something nice to say; that’s all I’ve got!

Can there not be someone just off stage to fact check everything they say? or would that go against the angry propaganda agenda that they have.

They are, as a Republican strategist was famously quoted in the New Yorker in 2012, not concerned with a “fact-based paradigm.” That one has stuck with me for years, and normally my memory is like a sieve.

Also, who knew we could miss Mitt?

No. And just to put things in perspective, I can recall when an RNC speaker telling a joke about somebody dying in Ted Kennedy’s car was considered crossing the line.

And Eric totally convinced me that Trump was just a guy from Brooklyn with a dream who went to Manhattan to take on those bigwig developers! A real man of the people who hung out with the construction workers and taught his kids how to command caterpillar machines and didn’t trust the word of those uppity ivory tower educated types that went to Wharton!

So Christie is holding a public large scale trial/public prosecution.

Large scale public show trials are often only found under the worst of political governments. Odd that Christie is so against those people when he is using their same tactics.
