It’s almost like the media would have us feel sympathy for this man. nope. he’s never done anything worthy of that. Maybe we should feel sorry for Mike Pence “the winner”, as he’s now running his spine and soul through an endless meat-grinder - nope. He’s never done anything worthy of sympathy. You’ve got to have shown some selflessness and empathy to merit that, and there simply isn’t any such in the extended trump zone.

He doesn’t deserve sympathy really, but you have to admit that this is a man who knows he’s fucked up bad. In a way, Christie’s journey into the void is similar to what the entire GOP is experiencing now. They know that going with Trump was a colossal error; if they ever forget, he is very eager to remind them by committing hourly gaffes.

But they can’t just give up because they can’t admit weakness, refuse to ever show that they made a mistake. So they’re riding the whirlwind now, and all they can do is hope that there is anything left when it’s over.

This the best thing about Trump: He has made the rest of the Republican Party look like grasping, pathetic fools in front of the entire country. No more veneer of respectability, no more shows of false modesty or dignity. Just a bewigged orange penis ejaculating hate and stupidity upon the giddy suckers below.

The only thing left to do is drown his sorrows in a buffet tray of veal piccata, a pound and a half of cappicola ham, and a couple of footlong chicken parms.

Tell me there’s not really such a thing as footlong chicken parms. If so, FML for being on an enforced cardiac diet regime.

Indeed there is such a thing, especially in New Jersey.

True fact: New Jersey’s official state bird is a chicken parm blimpie with a side of disco fries.

“There was a fat contestant who was a buffoon and a fuckup,” recalls the midlevel producer. “And he would fuck up week after week, and the producers would figure that he’d screwed up so badly that Trump would have to fire him. But Trump kept deciding to fire someone else. The producers had to scramble because of course Trump can never be seen to make a bad call on the show, so we had to re-engineer the footage to make a different contestant look bad. Later, I heard a producer talk to him, and Trump said, ‘Everybody loves a fat guy. People will watch if you have a funny fat guy around. Trust me, it’s good for ratings.’ I look at Chris Christie now and I swear that’s what’s happening.”

This is the reason I thought Drumpf would pick Christie. It’s a truly terrible reason.

Christie being passed over for the VP is going to hit the Boeing Company hard.

They lost countless millions in contracts they would have been awarded to retrofit Air Force Two by adding engines with more lifting power if Christie had won the election.

What do you call it when something evokes both fathomless pity and immeasurable mirth? It’s not really schadenfreude, because it includes an element of “Jesus. That’s just so depressing.”

Christie’s back-to-back bids for president and vice-president make for an unusually concise illustration of Karl Marx’s aphorism that history repeats itself, but first as tragedy then as farce.

Meanwhile, the press here in the scenic Landfill State has lambasted Christie for his long absences as governor, which reminds me of one of grandpa’s jokes: the food is terrible here, and such small portions.

His term doesn’t end until 2018, which means after Trump passes him over for the Cabinet he will have to slink back home and listen to wisecracks from legislators pretending not to remember who he is or pretending to think that he is a tourist from New York.

Christie is a lock for Attorney General imo. He helped Trump win by knocking out Rubio. Trump will give him something important.

The question is, is Chris Christie especially sad in that picture, or does he always look that pathetic now that he’s on the Trump Train?

        You tell me.
