Has the GOP given up on the presidential election, or are they just letting Trump do his thing until the convention when they’ll drop his ass like a hot rock.

Either way, they lose. There’s a story making the rounds that they have the committee votes to unbind the delegates. If they snatch the nomination from him, there will be riots in Cleveland. It will be goober on goober violence the likes of which we’ve never seen.

File this under news you’ll never hear on Gawker:

Are they ignoring it? Or just not covering it?

When it’s not national news and I also don’t hear about it here, it usually doesn’t bother me too much.

Gawker ignores anything that paints #BLM protesters in a bad light, such as this and a profile of the Dallas shooter (because they sure as shit did one for Dylan Roof).

Instead we get articles on Donald Trump farting and kicking a dead American war hero.

Nice pic, illustrating why a tragically under-used nickname for Drumpf is “Sphincter-face”.

All I can say is that this is the first time I’ve ever been excited for the GOP Convention. And the debates with Hillary! Do you think he’ll even go? I’m thinking (if he’s still the nominee) he’ll pass on the debates and say that the public isn’t interested in watching them argue about boring stuff.

I’m thinking he’ll show up to just one, but he’ll panic after the flubbing 2 or 3 hard questions and he’ll pull a stunt like walking away from the podium and trying to shower the audience with money before storming off the stage. But it won’t be US currency, it’ll be like 10 cents off golf balls at Mar a Lago (limit 1 per customer).

Hey guys, this could mean Pence is in for VP.

(Why the hell else would Trump be going to Indiana? But, then, this is the man who thinks he can win New York.)

Also: Pence needs to withdraw from his re-election bid by July 15th. . . .so we could know soon.

According to reports I read, Indiana is where Trump clinched the nomination too.

Pence is a hardcore conservative who will help Trump solidify support within the Party. But he’s exactly the wrong person in terms of expanding support—Pence is nationally famous mostly for being an anti-gay bigot.

I see the arguments for Pence being the best of the bunch, but that ain’t saying much. It’s funny how everyone just pretends that he didn’t get rolled on his little RFRA tantrum. Like, the business community hit back so hard they actually got a GOP legislature to go back and basically repeal a bill (or at least it’s worst parts).

Has any GOP governor had that kind of defeat in a legislature since 2010? And he’s supposed to be Trump’s savior? Really?

Pence is dumber than I thought, then. While his chances at re-election for governor aren’t much more than a coin flip, hitching his wagon to Trump will most certainly destroy his future in politics.

According to his LinkedIn he was a low-level operative for Sharron Angle and David Dewhurst’s senate campaigns and also worked on McCain Palin.

All of whom, in Trump parlance, are LOSERS.

    Nice job, guys.
