I actually don’t think Trump is anti-semitic. I do think he is extremely racist and an islamophobe. I also think he is not very intelligent and prone to conspiracy theories. But, I don’t think he actually realises the anti-semitic undertones of many of those theories, nor do I think he quite understands that people who share his views on blacks, Mexicans, and Muslims tend to hold similar views about Jewish people.

Whatever you think, the manufactured outrage has perpetuated the wide-scale spreading of an anti-Hillary ad. Everyone in the USA has seen a “Hillary is corrupt” image 30 times in the last few days. Coupled with an FBI Director having some choice words for her bathroom server... this absolutely persuades the public into thinking she’s sketchy.

I’m sort of posting this everywhere today, because a co-worker said “Trump’s a narcissist” and we hear that a lot so I looked up the full definition and it really fits. This is why Trump seems so out of control.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultraconfidence lies a fragile self-esteem that’s vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

If you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may feel a sense of entitlement — and when you don’t receive special treatment, you may become impatient or angry. You may insist on having “the best” of everything — for instance, the best car, athletic club or medical care.

    • Having an exaggerated sense of self-importance
    • Expecting to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
    • Exaggerating your achievements and talents
    • Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
    • Believing that you are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people
    • Requiring constant admiration
    • Having a sense of entitlement
    • Expecting special favors and unquestioning compliance with your expectations
    • Taking advantage of others to get what you want
    • Having an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
    • Being envious of others and believing others envy you
    • Behaving in an arrogant or haughty manner

Dude’s father hired prostitutes to frame a business rival and went to jail for it, why are we still calling them Orthodox Jews?

If the standard for calling someone “Orthodox” is that they completely follow strict religious rules 100%, no one would be able to carry the name. We call people by the name of the community they identify with, whether or not they are good examples of that community.

    Further proof he isn’t anti-Semitic:

    1) he has never killed a Jew

    2) he was not involved in the holocaust.

    3) he loves bagels.

    4) he doesn’t have any Jews trapped in his basement

    5) he's never bombed Israel

It was only a matter of time before he went to Anti-Semitism. The Hitler comparisons are, and have been, on point. It doesn’t matter which religion, nationality, or other persecuted minority he is choosing to target, having a major political party nominee continuously degrade large groups of people is terrifying. Everyone voting for Jill Stein, you are effectively voting this man into power.

Don't blame Jill Stein. If Hilllary wants to court her voters she should actually attempt to court them, not threaten them with doom if we don't all get on board. This isn't hard to understand, Obama reached out to Hillary voters in 2008 and brought them into the fold by adopting issues they cared about, rather than scare them about a bush 3rd term.

Jared Kushner owns The New York Observer. And Ms. Schwartz totally owned Jared Kushner.

I posit that this means that Dana Schwartz, through the transitive property of equality, now owns The New York Observer.

“If my father in law’s fast-moving team was careless in choosing an image to retweet, well part of the reason it’s so shocking is that it’s the actual candidate communicating with the American public rather than the armies of handlers who poll-test ordinary candidates’ every move.”

Actually, you may want to add some more handlers and poll test the use of images whose racist semiotics are quite obvious.

Generally it’s not a good idea to, say, post images of black people eating watermelon or pictures of Asians with big buck teeth.

If your father-in-law’s direct communication with the American people is “money grubbing Jew”, there is a serious problem you are conveniently ignoring.

Also, that doesn’t make any sense on its own terms. Either Trump’s team chose the image or the candidate himself is communicating. It can't be both.

He called it a retweet. It wasn’t a retweet. He stole a meme from an alt-right anti-Semite and didn’t even bother to attribute it. So his “fast moving team” are a bunch of lazy thieves with very poorly selected targets to steal from.

The decision to tweet it directly rather than retweet shows that the campaign considered how bad it would look to promote the account it came from, but didn’t think hard enough to realize it was anti-Semitic. Sad!

They DID realize it was anti-Semitic! And they also knew they could skate by with it by explaining it away. It was a dog whistle “Holla!” to his white supremacists and other racists supporters. We need to zero on this truth and quit explaining it away. He’s channeling their support.
