Prosecutors don’t seem to be Lincoln Christie directly to this, so they won’t be Holland him into court anytime soon.

Perhaps I should have had a 3rd cup of coffee this morning, but what are those emails showing that actually Cuomo knew?

Same. I’m willing to ascribe any level of corruption to Cuomo. But I don’t get it.

They obviously suspected something fishy was going on. But there is nothing there that suggests they had evidence of anything to back up their suspicion.

Imagine if you reported everytime you suspected something fishy in New Jersey politics?

It indicates that he knew about it before it hit the papers like he claims, not that he knew they planned it ahead of time.

For the love of comedy, Trump needs to pick Christie as his running mate.

Because the governor should have publicly accused the government of a state directly next to his of corruption without any hard evidence? Ridiculous. Do you guys know anything about government or the law?

The Port Authority of NY and NJ is an interstate agency; both states get equal representation on the board, and should have equal accountability for making sure things run properly (disclaimer: its arguable that PANY-NJ is the most opaque quasi-government agency in the country). So if Christie was using the PANY-NJ for his own purposes, it sort of looks terrible that Cuomo and his appointees a)had no idea what was going on in an agency they have equal responsibility for, b) knew something and tried to cover it up because it could hurt Cuomo too.

Looks like Cuomo’s people tried to put an end to NJ’s never ending shenanigans. Good on them, even if they didn’t reveal how much they knew.
