      Maybe it’d be cheaper to convince them angry people to calm the fuck down, chill-out, and talk it over.

      Shit, I’ve gotten an awful long way through life with that strategy and overall have gotten really great results. It’s worked out better than walking around beating people over the head when I disagree and claiming it’s OK when I do it because I have a wad of cash in my pocket.

      I mean, yes, we all know it’s legal and right to beat down the poors while carrying large amounts of cash or valuables - thus the ‘valid reasons’ for concealed carry and definitions for ‘threat’ that justify use of deadly force against a robber. But that’s not the point. Right?

      Yeah, gotta agree. We Americans have got to take some responsibility for what the Bushes created in the Middle East. I do not know exactly how to start unwinding the whole Apocalyptic War With The West thing, but backing slowly away is certainly a start.

      I realize it’s just a New Yorker cartoon, but it annoys me that the artist didn’t seem to realize that you can’t sit on top of the rock Sisyphus is pushing up the mountain because, you know, it’s rotating.
