Someone on the main page is criticizing her for attending and I'm thinking you'd be crazy not to go just for this reason. So much fun to be had! And you get the inside dirt. And there must be alcohol. When I was working I got invites to political parties for people I reeeeeally didn't agree with. I always went. You have to know your enemy. And drink their booze.

Criticizing her? Hell, she’s brave for walking into the lion’s den like that. It’s too bad she didn’t get a chance to sing “F**k You,” a far better song than Cee Lo Green’s unrelated song of the same name. However, in that crowd, it probably wouldn’t have gone over very well.

Completely unrelated, but F You was written by Bruno Mars.

Disagree. If she's going after Murdoch, she's a planetary treasure.

To be fair, it’s much easier to go after Murdoch now that he doesn’t have Wendi Deng to karate away attackers.

Raise your hand if you feel personally attacked and victimized by Nigel Farage’s shoes.

I’m guessing it’s to show solidarity with the victims of the Baghdad bombing from a couple of days ago.

This is the best “celebrity as undercover reporter” story since Hugh Grant blew open the phone hacking scandal!

...which also involved Murdoch. I’m sensing a pattern.

I always think Murdoch is scum, but this week both the Sun and the Times (which is meant to be respectable) published up skirt photos of Malia Obama, then 17, after her skirt blew up when they disembarked in Turkey. It was appalling.

I can’t figure out where Lily Allen’s politics lie on Brexit; she seems to be aligned with Labour, but then she calls for Article 50 to be invoked immediately.

Labour weren’t of one mind on Brexit - there are far left and far right people on both sides of the argument. Not that there are many far left people in Labour these days. Dennis Skinner is probably about it.

True, I tried to simply my point due to one-handed-baby-holding-typing, and ended up not being very clear.

She’s obviously very upset with Farage and Johnson and co., and she seems upset over Brexit, but is it because she wants to depart the EU and was upset both leaders are obviously too afraid to be the figureheads that trigger Article 50 and sink the pound even further into crisis? Or because she thinks that the current state of limbo is worse for the UK?

I wonder if Taylor Swift is still mad at her for stealing her boyfriend’s backup dancers.
