Please, somebody with more knowledge on tennis, educate me, sincere question here: what’s the deal with the guy who runs towards Serena, stops suddenly and stand in “Parade Rest” position? Is he security, or some kind of side-referree? What’s his purpose, penalize Serena for some rule-breaking? Prevent her from maybe throwing the racket into somebody?

    I’m a pretty mild mannered person most of the time, but I’ll be damned if I don’t lose my shit every time I make a mistake while playing tennis. There once was a time that I was planning on buying a new racket, so I figured that I would take out my frustration on my soon-to-be old racket. Oh man, that was satisfying. My opponent, who happened to be my 60 year-old father, was not as into it.

      I'm a very cool headed person. However, when I play FIFA, I turn into a monster. I've broken more than one controller after I've lost a game 2-1 and I outshot (on goal) the opponent 20-2. Everyone has a thing that sets them off; I don't play FIFA any more.

      I feel you. I was once asked to leave the go-kart track at Adventure Land because of aggressive driving. I am a grown-ass woman. The other people on the track were mostly children.

      I just wanted to win so bad I lost my mind. At a children’s go-kart track. I don’t know what comes over me.

      He’s not trying to block her. Ball kids have to be on standby near the players during changeovers, and they are expected to run fall-out to every position. He's just doing his job.

    That should be a commercial for how tough that brand of racket is. I mean, Serena has got some serious arms there and she put the hurt on that racket, yet it was only a bit warped. A lesser racket may have been completely misshapen or the handle might have lost the grip or something. None of the strings even busted.
