    The sight of this Planned Parenthood in a strip mall makes me realize how lucky I am to have received PP care in New England and California. The locations were in wonderful neighborhoods (there’s literally a PP on the Santa Monica Promenade), in tasteful buildings, with well appointed waiting and exam rooms. I walked less than a mile from my apartment to the PP where I had my abortion (and was picked up by a Jezzie; you know who you are, and I adore you forever), and it was free. I’ve only ever seen picketers on Saturdays, and they get bored after a couple of hours.

    The extreme disparity in experiences of women in the North and the South of this country is appalling. We are practically two nations.

      I work at a planned parenthood in Fl that’s located in a strip mall and it’s beautiful on the inside. Also, it’s location has nothing to do with the quality of care provided inside its walls.

    I hope that shows the tide against abortion is turning because I was worried abortion was gong to be made outlawed. A lot of damage has already been done and a lot of women have already been hurt.

    I was listening to CSPAN this morning on the radio with Ken Blackwell of the Family Research Council still spouting Planned Parenthood sells fetuses for profit. Was pleasantly surprised most callers defined themselves as Christians calling out this as bullshit. Worth a listen (but 48min).

      Lots of questions from callers (again, Christians) mentioning the Separation of Church and State and why he supports Trump. I might have missed it while driving my son to camp but nobody mentioned the three marriages and why would Blackwell expect him to keep his word while ignoring his sacred vow of marriage.

    This week? This week has been a little bit awesome. I woke up DREADING the SCOTUS ruling and ended up happy crying. And as a Floridian I kept praying that the new TRAP laws here would get stayed. And as a bonus so did the Mississippi Religious Bullshit laws.

    I’m seriously happy couch dancing (foot is still broken, and I have to be a good patient and not actually dance on it). Woooohoooooties all y’all!!!!! I need to go find my OG RGB t-shirt or my Uterus t-shirt to celebrate.
