Maaaaaan, Dame Dash. I forgot that dude existed. Now I miss the days of Roc A Fella. Jim Jones, Camron, Juelz Santana, the rest of Dipset, The Young Gunz, Old Kanye West, Twista, Beanie Siegal, Freeway, Jigga, Old Dirty Bastard before he kicked the bucket.

This just makes me realize how garbage modern hip hop is. I’m 27 and I’m turning into an old man.

I get where he’s coming from. Beyoncé’s fans went overboard after Rachel Roy’s post on Instagram. She was shady as hell, but it’s no reason for fans to attack her preteen kid. That child didn’t deserve to be harassed on the internet. And even though Beyoncé wasn’t like, “Sick ‘em fam,” I can understand the frustration with the fact that someone created something very public and very personal that inadvertently impacted his baby, and then kept quiet after the blunt force trauma of media speculation and gossip.

He also may be frustrated with Roy- she made that damn post in the first place- but didn’t want to say that because it would only feed the beast and cause more blowback than it was worth.

I think Rachel Roy was a moron for outing herself knowing the type of fans Beyoncé has, but I gotta agree with Dash here...I don’t think anyone ever really thinks that fans will go after someone’s kids like that. And I will never understand that..as a grown adult .you’re so invested in a celebrity that you cyber bully innocent preteens?! Who does that?!

  Stop being lame. There’s nothing wrong with being a person who doesn’t like to read, but Bey’s songs and the rare interview suggest that she does read. She quoted Warsan Shire’s poetry throughout Lemonade, she is clearly a fan of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and she actually recommended this book in her Garage interview earlier this year.
