      I have to agree. Why do the rich and famous always get such badly done tattoos? I know older skin is tough to work with but that looks like some straight up Helvetica bullshit. Dame Judy deserves way better.

      she might not get it as a tattoo, but she apparently does naughty cross stitch on-set when she’s not in front of the camera, so there could very well be a Dame Judy original work out there of that very phrase.

    Hmmm, what’s the standard for alignment in wrist tattoos? When I got my tattoo done, I wanted the birds aligned so that if I held my hand up to my face, they would be right side up, but my tattoo artist convinced me to have them perched right above where my wrist creases, so when my arm is slack, the birds are right side up. Others I know with wrist tattoos also have this alignment. Dame Judi’s is upside down. Is that common? Genuinely curious as to what other people chose for their wrist tattoos

      I have mine facing me. I think you’re right that it’s not as common in general, but maybe more common with something like a mantra, since she probably wants to read it herself?

      You’re supposed to get them like I believe you’re describing yours. Hers is upside down and “wrong”. I thought I wanted mine like hers and now I have a full sleeve and I have one fucked up looking little tattoo at the end of my arm I’m going to have to get covered. I wish I would have listened to my artist, but nooooo! I thought I knew better. I knew nothing. SMH.
