    Am I deluding myself into thinking 30 is NBD? Everyone makes a big deal of it but I don’t see it. I’ve got 6 months to go. I like almost 30 me. I’m happier, healthier, and more at peace with my life than I have ever been before. Also I’m excited for my uterus to be so dusty and full of cobwebs that people stop asking me about when I’m going to have a baby. (I know that won’t happen at 30, but it’s getting closer)

      I was more upset about 30 than I was about 40. It’s more that I didn’t find myself where I wanted to be personally and professionally, and felt I hadn’t accomplished much. I’m 47 now, and finally TCB. Happier than I’ve been in a long time.

      Thirty was no big deal for me. I was stoked to turn 30. I had a friend who had a fucking MELTDOWN about it but she’s also kind of an attention seeker so I think she played it up because she “thinks” she’s supposed to. My mother is like that. My mom freaked out about ME turning 30 and I’m like, “I’m stoked?” Like she was basically talking about how old she was and how I need to settle down and I’m like, “WHOA LADY, I’m 30.CHILL.”

      I fucking hate this shit. We all know from the media she’s lived pretty hard and while that can alter skin, teeth, wrinkles, etc, like I hate the “She looks older than (age)“ comments because like, “HOW OLD IS THIRTY SUPPOSED TO LOOK?” If you lined up me and five of my girlfriends, all of who are 30 years old, we all look varying ages. It’s fucking stupid. Stop saying shit like this.

    I am always surprised when I’m reminded she’s younger than me. I think of her as an older drunk aunt who’s always talking about quitting smoking and telling you bawdy jokes that make her laugh to herself and then her laughs turn into hacking coughs.

    Did anyone watch “Family Therapy” with Dr. Jenn on VH1 with her parents? My thoughts on LiLo WAY softened after I saw the shit-show she grew up around. And now, she looks like she’s having the last laugh. So, I get why she got shade for so long but....... you do you, girl.
