      I still watch TDS and I still like it. But I really wanted Jessica to take over from Jon Stewart. I don’t know if she was considered but she seemed perfect for the job.

      Seriously it’s like TDS went full-frat with Trevor Noah. The dude correspondents are pretty funny, but the comedy has taken a turn towards the fart joke end of the spectrum. Jon probably told fart jokes but he had a self-awareness and intellectual curiosity that is now absent. Rock on, Jessica. She deserves to get out of that testes fest.

      Yes! And I seriously tried, too. Even now, I watch the Nightly Show on hulu (because I love to see Larry Wilmore giggle!) and it automatically starts playing The Daily Show next. So I would try and give it a chance...now I make sure to jump to the remote as soon as I hear the network logo...

      For that matter, it is exactly the same reason I stopped watching Comedy Central live on TV. I was clearly not their demographic, and they did not seem to want to do anything about that. Curiously, that was also what killed live ‘broadcast’ TV for me as a whole and let me cut the cable, me now that I think of it. Too many bro-mercials across the board.

      So...thank you, Comedy Central? I...guess...
