SPOILERS:

Laurelai is living back with her mother after her inn went out of business and she had to sell her home and go into massive debt due to lawsuit settlement from Sookie’s cooking giving guests norovirus. She didn’t have the inn insured because of her past resentment for her father’s business. She is currently single and unemployed.

Rory failed at all her attempts to get into the world of journalism and instead had to use her last name’s reputation to get a middling job in admissions at Yale. She ended up marrying Tristan Dugray who is an alcoholic hedge fund manager.

Emily Gilmore mixes alcohol and medication to deal with the pain of finding out that Richard was having a decades long homosexual affair with his roommate from Yale after finding some of their love letters in his desk after his death.

Sookie and Jackson divorced after the inn was shuttered. Jackson took his own life by tying himself to a cinder block and drowning himself in the pond behind the inn. Sookie lost custody of their child to CPS and now works as a line cook at Waffle House.

Luke died of heart failure and left the diner to Jess who ran it out of business after changing the menu to vegan. Jess has been spotted in several gay-for-pay pornography videos.

Taylor Doose is serving 40 years in federal penitentiary for possession and distribution of child pornography.

  Lane’s great! She converted to hardcore conservative Christianity and is homeschooling her children so that they learn literal Bible interpretation science. Zach converted as well and is now a senior salesman at a car dealership. Mrs. Kim couldn’t be prouder.

I lived in Los Angeles, including Hollywood for nine years and I went to one typical Hollywood-ish party. Think Swingers party in the Hollywood Hills. Two things stand out from that party, I apparently met Lauren Graham, who was in Gilmore Girls at the time, but didn’t know who she was at all until after the fact. I also met Rob Zombie there, by introducing myself and saying “Wow, you look a lot like Rob Zombie.”

  I was at the arc light and turned to my now husband and said “I have to go say hi to my friend Rory” Luckily he grabbed me and said you don’t know her, she is an actress and her real name isn’t Rory. I just felt like she was really my friend from high school and thank God I didn’t walk over there.
